Explorations – help needed!

We are ALWAYS looking for volunteers for Explorations, and we would love to hear from you! If you would like to serve as a class helper or a sub, we would love to hear from you as well.  Explorations are elementary elective classes taught by parents and community volunteers.

Please let us know if you would like to lead an Exploration and would like help brainstorming a topic. Sometimes we hear from students about their Explorations dreams, and we are able to share that with willing leaders. For example, our 5th graders seem keen on having a Pokemon exploration.

Here are a few other ideas from past years:

  • Cooking
  • Calligraphy
  • Minecraft
  • Keyboarding
  • Soccer
  • American Girl Doll crafts
  • Cake Decorating
  • Around the World
  • Caring for the Earth
  • Cemetery Sleuths
  • Tennis
  • Watercolors
  • Photography
  • Origami
  • Scrapbooking
  • Anime
  • Babysitting
  • Taking care of pets
  • Harry Potter
  • Hip Hop/ Dance
  • Musical Theatre
  • Learn the Ukulele

If you are interested in supporting Explorations, please contact us. It takes a minimum of 30  magical volunteers every week to make it possible!

Please let us know if you have any questions or need help brainstorming class ideas. We look forward to having you share your talents with our students!

Thanks again, and see you soon!
