The Frolic is the Exploris PTO’s annual fundraiser where we raise money to help make Exploris a better school by, for example, buying new equipment and funding field trips. We needs YOUR help to make it a big success.
How can you help?
- Volunteer your time by signing up to volunteer the day or night of the event. Help set-up, hand out tickets, take payment, clean-up, etc. Sign-ups will be posted to this blog soon.
- Send in items for Class Baskets . Each teacher has chosen a theme for their class. Please send in items that relate to the theme. They can be new and unused items that you already own or items that you purchase new for the Frolic.
Please notice that Mary Margaret and the Global Arts teachers are collecting items this year for themed baskets as well! Please be as generous as you can and have fun choosing items, big or small, for the baskets. Be creative!!!
Items should be dropped off at school before March 4th.

GLOBAL ARTS / OFFICE
- Zac – The Game Plan – games of all kinds for the entire family
- Jamie – Duct or “Duck” Tape – any color or pattern!
- Eugene – Road Trip – things you can take in the car to make a trip go faster, snacks, games, etc.
- Mary Margaret – The Secret Garden – Gardening tools, gloves, books, statues, flower seeds, planters, etc.
6TH GRADE
- Juliana – Hollywood Nights – movies, popcorn maker, popcorn, movie tickets
- Andrea – Ice Cream Sundae – ice-cream maker, what goes in it and what goes on it, recipe book
- Devon – Snack Attack – goodies!
- Shannon – Breakfast at Tiffany’s – food, dish ware, cookbooks, tablecloths, reading material
7TH GRADE
- Meredith – Just Japan – books, movies, food, restaurants, etc.
- Sonja – Coffee, Tea or Me? – mugs, cups, pots, coffee, tea, and yummy treats
- Karen – Cameron Village – get it for or from Cameron Village
- Laura – The Italian Job – books, food, movies, restaurants, etc.
8TH GRADE
- Helene – Welcome to Germany – books, food items, movies, restaurants, etc.
- Leah – Nerf Wars – all things Nerf
- Frank – North Hills – get it from or for North Hills
- Vaishali – Colorful North Carolina – foods and items made in NC, books about North Carolina, NC clothing, NC museum items …
