Special thanks to the parents who volunteered at the PTO Work Day on August 3rd. Several people came to Exploris to help get the building ready for the start of the school year and accomplished a variety of tasks including organizing and painting the basement room for the new health and well-being program, hanging new shades in the basement windows, cleaning/sweeping and planting flowers outside the school, and replacing lightbulbs throughout the building, just to name a few. It is the dedication of our families on days like the PTO Work Day that make Exploris such a special place.
Another PTO Work Day is scheduled for Saturday, September 28th. Please mark this date on your calendar and make plans to help out if enjoy these kind of handyman projects. A Sign-Up Genius identifying the specific jobs and tasks will be published in early September. If you have any questions or concerns about Building & Grounds, however, do not hesitate to email me.
