The University of Arizona’s College of Science will be offering two, week-long Science Academies at Biosphere 2 for middle and high school students during the month of July, 2014.
The Biosphere 2 Science Academy provides a unique opportunity to explore and learn within one of the largest, cutting-edge environmental science research laboratories in the world. Participants will team up with University of Arizona scientists who will immerse students in hands-on research projects designed to foster discovery, collaboration, and leadership. Under the direction of trained student counselors from the University of Arizona, participants will live on the Biosphere 2 campus in dormitory-style condominiums (casitas).
Session 1 (Students grades 6 – 9) – July 6-12
