Dear Parents,

Please help make our 20 teachers and staff feel special during Exploris’ Teacher Appreciation Week February 24th – 28th!  The purpose of this week is to thank our teachers and staff for their hard work and recognize the impact they have on the lives of our children.

Here’s the schedule for a week filled with thanks:

• Monday – Take Home Dinners
• Tuesday – Staff & Teacher Breakfast 
• Wednesday – Take Home Dinners
• Thursday – Staff & Teacher Catered Lunch
• Friday – Love Your Teacher Day

Please note:

Meals – Meals are defined as an entrée and side dish.  Diet restrictions and family size are noted in the sign up.  Due to limited workroom and refrigerator space, we have divided the staffs’ and teachers’ meals over two days – Monday and Wednesday.  We hope this choice allows for more flexibility for our families as well! You may sign up for anyone; it does not need to be your current teacher. Please attach the name of the staff or teacher to each item as they may become separated when stored in the refrigerator. Please also include reheating instructions.  If possible, disposable containers are much appreciated.  Non-disposable containers should be labeled and will be available for pickup in the workroom.

Breakfast – We will be serving breakfast for all teachers and staff on Tuesday, starting at 7:30 am.  Food may be dropped off in the workroom anytime on Monday or delivered no later than 7:20 am on Tuesday morning.  We do not have the ability to reheat food, but we do have a refrigerator.  Please clearly mark your donation “Teacher Appreciation Breakfast”.  If possible, disposable containers are much appreciated.  Non-disposable containers should be labeled and will be available for pickup in the workroom. The PTO will be providing beverages.

Volunteers – The committee could use a few extra hands to help with setup and cleanup for breakfast on Tuesday morning and the catered luncheon on Thursday afternoon.  Dates and times are noted in sign up.

“Love Your Teacher Day” –Friday will be your family’s or child’s special day to show your teacher “that you are the best”!  How you say it is up to you – something pretty, something tasty, something useful, something creative, a card, a gift, it’s totally up to you!
