FYI: Father of the Year Essay Contest

From an Exploris Parent….

One of the many ways that the Family Resource Center of Raleigh is uplifting fathers in our community is by celebrating a Father of the Year at our 2nd Annual Fatherhood Conference.

The father of the year short essay contest is open to youth in Wake and Durham schools grades 5 through 9. Students need to write 300 words about their father or father figure and answer “What my father or father figure means to me”. Entries must be typed and electronically submitted to fatherhood@frcofraleigh.org.

Entries must be received by April 25th and the winner will be announced on June 1st. The winner will receive a $500.00 prize package and be honored at the Fatherhood Conference on June 14th.
