Summer’s 4.5 year old son, Rory, has been diagnosed with what they believe is a very aggressive bone cyst in his ankle. He’s having surgery at UNC Hospital tomorrow (Thursday, Jan. 28) to remove the bulk of the cyst.  He’ll be in the hospital for 2-3 nights and then have a hard cast for 8-10 weeks, with more procedures in the future.
