The PTO’s big fundraiser will be held during our CAM Family Day event on Sunday, April 19. We need our Exploris families to donate items for our Silent Auction, and then bid generously on them at Family Day.
Do you have a vacation home you could offer for a week or weekend in the off-season as an auction item?
Do you own or work at a business or belong to a club that could donate items or services to be bid on? Dental work or braces, legal services, dinner with a private chef, and golf packages are always popular.
Do you have connections with people who could offer interesting opportunities, like a day at a vet, or a visit to a TV studio, or tickets to a hockey game or other coveted sport event?
The money we raise will be used by the PTO to
- support our teachers and staff
- provide field trip scholarships
- purchase items needed for our school
- bring in exciting opportunities for our kids like the upcoming Beta Box project
- organize important school activities like Expressions Day and Graduation
This year, in addition to the usual activities the PTO supports, we also spent $10,000 helping to outfit the new elementary school with computers, tables, chairs, bookshelves, and other supplies.
