At today’s PTO Board meeting, Ellie said she is excited to start planning a groundbreaking ceremony for the new building. She will update parents as soon as she knows any dates. (Look for something in the coming months about that!)
Per her newsletter last night, she received an update at the board meeting on Tuesday regarding the progress of our permanent location. Here is a brief excerpt for parents who may have missed it:
They (the contractor) are continuing to work with the City of Raleigh to finalize all permitting requirements and anticipate completion at the end of April. Once permits and financing are finalized we will have a groundbreaking. After we break ground the construction timeline is expected to be 18-24 months before can move in. We will keep you updated as we learn more.
