If you cannot make the Spring Cleanup Day, but would like to purchase flowers, please drop them off at the ES on March 18th at the Front Desk.
Thank you!

The Exploris PTO is excited for the Spring Family Day on April 3 from 2-5 at the Elementary Campus. Bring the entire family to play games, shop the Exploris Craft Fair, experience Sunset Slush and Dinkie’s Mini Donuts Food Trucks and enjoy a beautiful spring day with the Exploris community. We will be hosting a food drive to help stock the Exploris Food Pantry. Please bring non-perishable items!
We will also be selling Papa Murphy’s pizzas. Proceeds will go to the Exploris Food Pantry. Pick one up on your way home. Dinner is already made!
Spring Family Day Volunteers Needed!
The Exploris PTO needs parent volunteers to help out with running the Exploris Spring Family Day! Please come out and join in the fun! We are hoping volunteers could work for 1 hour during the Family Day and spend the other 2 hours enjoying the day with your family.

Exploris Craft Fair during Family Day
If you’ve been around Exploris for a while, you may remember the Exploris Craft Fair that used to be held in November on the day of the Raleigh Christmas Parade. This was an opportunity for Exploris vendors to sell artwork and craft items, as well as a chance for Exploris students to raise money for Outward Bound or other passion projects. We are going to have a Craft Fair during the Spring Festival this year!
Vendors: Exploris families who would like to set up a booth to sell their products can do so for $20, which will be donated to the Exploris Food Pantry.
Student Groups: Students can sell items to raise money for passion projects such as non-profits and charities. Each student group must have a parent sponsor. You will have space to set up your own tent and products.
Look for a craft fair signup form to be emailed later this week.
Church Pew Storage – we are looking for a family that has a storage space large enough to store 2 large church pews. These need to be stored until we move into the new building. If you have a place to store these, please reach out to Jessica Roberts at elementaryfrontdesk@exploris.org
Lunch Volunteering
The Exploris Middle and Elementary School have a new opportunity for parents to volunteer. They are looking for parents/grandparents/caregivers to come and cover a lunch/recess session at the school. This is on Tuesday and Thursdays right now, please see the signup below to participate!

Teacher Snack Stash
Don’t forget, Teacher Snack Stash refills every 10th of the month. Right now the 1st grade parents and Kindergarten parents are amazing at bringing in items. So much so, the PTO would like to make a few tweaks to the snack items this month!
1st Grade Families – instead of bringing bubbly water, could you bring soda (Diet Dr. Pepper, Coke, Diet Coke, Sprite…)
Kindergarten Families – instead of bringing in different types of popcorn, could you bring in different sweets or protein bars (Hershey kisses, individually wrapped candies like Skittles, small chocolate bars, or any type of protein bars)

Friday Enrichment Update:
Hey grown ups,
We’ve got so many exciting classes for students this round… Cirque De Vol, Puzzles and Brainteasers, Clay Creations, Science Adventures, Urban Hiking, and more!
We want to continue to make this a great experience for our students and really need your support to pull it off. It takes a village to make this happen– you are welcome to volunteer in any grade level at any time of day!
Instead of 6 classes, we will be doing 5 classes next session!
The dates updates are: 4/1, 4/8, 4/29, 5/6, 5/13
(we will not have class 5/27)
Please reach out if you can help!
In partnership,
Calie and Karen
