Wake County has delayed opening on Monday, Jan. 28 by 3 hours.

Summer stated the following in a recent email:

“With the weather turning colder, I want to make sure everyone is aware of the school’s inclement weather policy. Generally speaking, Exploris Middle School will follow the Wake County Public School System’s closings and delays. If   Schools close, Exploris will close. If Wake County Schools operate on a delayed opening, Exploris will do the same. The only exception to this policy will occur if Wake County Schools close for more than two consecutive days.  In this instance, check the school answering machine or website for specific instructions. Please watch local television station WRAL 5 or call the school for a message whenever there is the possibility of weather-related schedule changes. “
