Girls in Science at NC Museum of Natural Sciences

Know a middle-school girl who loves science? Send her to Girls in Science at the NC Museum of Natural Sciences! This intensive 8-week program for 6th- and 7th-grade girls provides opportunities for hands-on science exploration at the Museum and in the great outdoors. We are currently accepting applications for the spring session (Jan-Mar). All applications due by 5 pm, Wednesday, January 15.

To apply:

A complete application consists of three online forms: one for the parents, one for the girls, and one that is a recommendation from a current or former science teacher. Homeschool students will need to get a recommendation from an unrelated adult such as a music teacher, coach, or youth group leader.

The application deadline is 5 pm, Wednesday, January 15. All three parts of the application must be submitted by 5 pm on January 15 in order for the application to be considered.
