Parent Volunteers Needed

Calling all architects, engineers, designers, etc with knowledge of landscape design.  Our 8th grade students are working to solve a drainage problem at the Elementary School site.  Their solutions will focus on slowing the movement of water and preventing excessive runoff.  

There are two opportunities to provide help.  

1. One-time Project Feedback You will examine a group proposal and provide specific feedback to improve the proposal for a 20 minute session on Monday, October 26, or Tuesday, October 27.
2. Evaluating Student Proposals: You will examine group proposals created by 8th grade students and determine the most viable solutions using a rubric. The proposal presentation will take place on Friday, October 30th from 11:00 am – 11:30 am, and 11:30 am – 12:00 pm.
