Exploris is truly a community – it’s not just about the students and teachers.  Our families, friends, colleagues, and neighbors help to shape the learning experiences our kids are given.  We are so dependent on community involvement for a successful school year.

The school asks that each family volunteer 8 hours of time a month, and we have tons of ways to help that fit many schedules and interests.  We also encourage involving grandparents, extended family, and friends in volunteer opportunities.

Please take a few minutes to complete this Parent Involvement Form.  It will really help me to focus our volunteer requests, so that everyone doesn’t get every request (because that’s annoying and you’ll soon stop reading my posts/emails! 😉 )  A quick introduction to those who don’t know me – I am Allie Lindahl, your PTO VP of Volunteers.  I have two Exploris students – Evelyn in 2nd and Avery in K, and one more at home, 18 month old Colton.  I am a nurse at WakeMed and am super excited to be a part of the Exploris Community.
