Friday Update: Spirit Week, Saturday Workday, DJ Requests for Fall Festival!

There is so much going on at Exploris right now! On Saturday, we will have an Elementary School cleanup day. Monday-Friday next week is Spirit Week! And we’ll end this fun week with the Exploris Fall Festival on Friday. Read below for more information and links:

Oct 25-Oct 29 SPIRIT WEEK

  • Monday, Oct. 25th: Pajama Day
  • Tuesday, Oct. 26th: Crew Day! Each crew can choose their own theme for the day!
  • Wednesday: Colors Day. Dress head to toe in your favorite color, break out the rainbows, neon or tie dye, or go all blackout/whiteout themed
  • Thursday: Sports Day— wear your favorite workout gear, favorite team colors, or uniform
  • Friday: Character Day/Costume Day Dress as a favorite character from history, from a book, movie, series, etc, or wear your Halloween costume

If you have extra costumes, robes, sportswear or other accessories that you would like to donate please drop them off at the Exploris Elementary office or send them in with your crew teacher. We want to make sure that everyone can participate in spirit week, and have a costume to wear to the Fall Festival on Friday!

There is a Family Workday on Saturday, October 23rd from 9:00-2:00 at the elementary campus. We will prepare the grounds and clean up for the Fall Festival on Friday, October 29th. Please signup here.

The Exploris PTO is planning an outdoor event for our entire school community. Get your costumes ready because this will be festive fun for our everyone! Crew Parents from each grade will sponsor an activity. The 8th grade is working on the music for the Fall Festival. We will have a DJ and a dance floor! Here’s the request form for DJ Sam. Please share this with your kids and help them fill it out by Friday, October 22!

Get your pumpkins ready! ðŸŽƒðŸŽƒðŸŽƒ

We are so excited to have a pumpkin carving contest at the Exploris Fall Festival on October 29.

To participate in the contest you will need to bring your pre-carved pumpkin to the fall festival with a battery-operated candle to light it. No flames please. Please put your name and grade on the bottom of the pumpkin.

We will be giving prizes for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place pumpkins! Pumpkins will be judged by our directors!
