Exploris Fall Festival- October 29!

Join us on Friday for the Exploris Fall Festival!

Get your costumes ready and pumpkins carved because it’s almost time for the Fall Festival!

This Friday evening from 5-8pm, you are all invited to join us for the Exploris Fall Festival! This fun event is being sponsored by the Exploris PTO and will include two food trucks, a giant inflatable slide, a pumpkin carving contest, lots of fun games, a DJ and dance area, a firepit, cornhole tournament, and more!

Costumes and Masks: Please wear your costumes and masks and join us outside at the Exploris Elementary Campus on Swain street.

Candy Raffle: Kids, stop by the PTO Information tent to fill out a name tag and pick up a raffle form! Get your form stamped when you play games, and then turn it in to be entered into our candy raffle. Winners will be announced at 7:00.

Parking: Adults, there are several options for parking:

  • along the streets near the school- do not block driveways
  • at Treasuring Christ Church at the corner of Swain and Hargett
  • at the Young Men’s Leadership Academy (school beside Exploris)

The festival takes place in the Exploris Elementary School parking lot and fields. See diagram below.

Inclement Weather: We are carefully monitoring the weather. Rain Date is the following Friday, November 5. An announcement will be made before the end of the school day to all school channels (One Call, email, social media) if the event is postponed.

Volunteers still needed. Please consider helping out for an hour. Sign up here.
Volunteers please check in at the PTO Booth when you arrive. All adults please help supervise the kids.

Food at the Festival!

We will have two food trucks at the Fall Festival: Raleigh Dogz and Mr. C’s Funnel Cakes.

*Mr. C‘s Funnel Cakes will have candy apples, cotton candy, canned drinks, lemonade, fried Oreos, and of course- FUNNEL CAKE!

*Raleigh Dogz will be grilling hotdogs, hamburgers and beyond burgers. She’ll have all the fixins including chips, sodas, and gluten free buns.

You are also welcomed to bring your own food and drink.

Pumpkin Carving Contest! 🎃🎃🎃

We are so excited to have a pumpkin carving contest at the Fall Festival. To participate in the contest you will need to bring your pre-carved pumpkin to the fall festival with a battery-operated candle to light it. No flames please. Please put your name and grade on the bottom of the pumpkin. We will be giving prizes for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place pumpkins! Pumpkins will be judged by our directors Josh and Deb! We will announce the winners at 7:00.
