4/25 MM: It’s Teacher Appreciation Week!

Hi Exploris Parents,

This week is Teacher Appreciation Week at Exploris School. The PTO has some fun things planned each day.  We wanted to give a little more information on each day. We hope you’ll all participate on Wednesday and Thursday and help us show our amazing Exploris teachers and staff how much we appreciate them! If you’d like to volunteer with setup and cleanup, please contact Hospitality Chair Brooke Hedrick at volunteers@explorispto.org.

Monday – Coffee and Macaron Bar

PTO Sponsored, Black Cat Coffee will set up a coffee bar at each campus for the Staff to stay caffeinated all day.  Mon Macaron will be creating a macaron tower for both schools!

Tuesday – Biscuitville Grab + Go

PTO has arranged all different types of biscuits and sausage balls for a quick breakfast, with OJ and Sweet Tea.

**Wednesday –  Sweet Treat Day ***

The PTO is hoping that parents will bring in a home baked or store bought Sweet Treat for the Staff to munch on throughout the day.  You can drop off the treats at carpool, a table will be set up at each campus.  

**Thursday – Homemade Cards and Gift Cards ***

Please ask your child to make a few handmade cards for their teachers and other Exploris Staff members.  If you feel inclined, feel free to give your teaches any sort of gift card – for coffee, Target, Amazon, a local restaurant, or anything! Any small amount is appreciated.  

Friday – Boxed Lunes by Lucettegrace

Staff Members provided a choice of three different sandwiches or a salad boxed lunch.

We hope that the entire Exploris School Staff feels all of the love, especially after another crazy school year.  Thank you for being a part of making the magic happen!

  • Wednesday June 1 – Final PTO Meeting, in person, election & social
  • Friday, June 10 –Last Day of School!  8th Grade Graduation (10:30 am), early dismissal

Join the Exploris Foundation! The foundation is the fundraising arm of the school. We are looking for board members to serve a 3-year term. We especially need someone to run the school’s annual fund drive, which aims to raise $100,000 in donations each year. Contact annualfund@exploris.org to apply.
