8. Volunteer Needs –

getinvolved3The PTO is planning some exciting new events this spring, and we need parent volunteers to be successful!  Please contact Allie Lindahl (allie.lindahl@gmail.com) if you’re interested in helping with any of these areas:

  • Silent Auction Lead –  The PTO is in the early phases of discussing possibilities for a new fundraiser/social combo, and would love for someone interested in leading it involved from the beginning.  We are open to ideas but have lots of support too!
  • Teachers Stash Snack Drive – Coordinate volunteers for the Teacher Snack Stash drives at the elementary and middle schools and organizes snacks in workrooms.  Typically, we have had a fall and spring drive, but new ideas are always appreciated!
  • Annual Fund Leader in Training – The current Annual Fund leader is ready to step down next year, but would love someone to follow her this year to learn the ropes.  If you are interested in helping with the Annual Fund next year, please let us know!

Photo of the week:  the Exploris 6th grade traveled to Aurora, NC on January 23. Everyone had a great time learning about the web of life, how that ancient history is preserved by our Earth, and of course finding cool ancient shark teeth!
