Upcoming Events

1. Back to School – this week

Open House – Monday – August 19^th 4pm – 6 pm
Bring your child to meet their teacher and students in their crew. Please feel free to bring your supplies to Open House or the First Day of School.

First Day of School – August 21st
Being present at school on the first day and every day is critical for student achievement and ensures that students become acclimated for success. School attendance also has financial ramifications and determines our funding levels so it is crucial that all students attend on the first day. Kindergarten parents, please be sure to join us after dropoff for “Tissues and Tea”.

Carpool Reminders
Please create a sign for your car with your child’s name to assist with the carpool process. Make sure you pull into the carpool lane and turn right when exiting the school lots. If you are looking for other Exploris families to carpool with, please participate in our PTO Carpool Map. *Please see Ellie’s Back to School emails for carpool maps and further information about carpool.

2. Back to School Fall Picnic- August 25th

The Exploris PTO is excited to welcome all Exploris faculty, students and their families to join us for food and fun at our annual Fall Family Picnic.

CHAVIS PARK has a big playground and a CAROUSEL located right beside the shelter. We have reserved the shelter and the kids can run around and play with friends. There is plenty of parking and there are restroom facilities as well.

In case of inclement weather we will make an announcement on Facebook and on the PTO website by 3pm.

3. Exploris Spiritwear is now available to order! Items will be delivered to students some time in October (date TBD).

4. PTO Directory/Information Form

Please fill out this short form to register with the PTO and to participate in the 2019-20 online school directory. To protect the privacy of our families, the online directory will only contain the names and contact information of families who choose to have their information published. If you would like to have your information published in a directory to be shared with others, you must opt-in on the form. Fields that you choose to fill will be then be published (as a password protected Google sheet) on the PTO website.

6. Carpool Map

7.Lunch Program– Spicy Green Gourmet Cafe & Catering!

spicygreen Spicy Green Gourmet will provide hot and cold lunch options at both campuses and serve students in K- 8. The links below will take you to the account set up instructions and menus for August and September. Spicy Green will be at the Open House on August 19th so check out their table for more information and taste some of their delicious samples.

You can keep up with Exploris events by subscribing to the Google Calendar. First click on the Calendar, then click on the + button in the lower right corner of the calendar. If you don’t already have a Google account, you will need to set one up, which is easy and free. After subscribing, all Exploris events will also be displayed on your calendar.
