1. Join us for our August PTO Meeting/Election:

Thursday, August 6, 6:00pm on Zoom

The first PTO meeting of the year will be held next Thursday, August 6.  Anyone is welcome to attend! The PTO board is looking forward to a great year ahead, even if it is an unusual one! We would love to see more parents and teachers attending our monthly PTO meetings. We alternate between evening and lunchtime meetings to accommodate more schedules.  We plan to continue this alternating schedule on Zoom. 

We still have several important board positions to fill on our slate, including VP Volunteers, VP Fundraising, and President Elect.   Please consider getting involved. We’re happy to chat with you this week if you are interested.  Reach out here. 

During the August meeting we will:
-Introduce the proposed Executive Board, take any other nominations, and hold an election 
-Discuss PTO goals for the 2020-21 year
-Hear from the Exploris Interim Leadership Team with a reopening update
-Treasurer update
-Identify board positions and volunteer roles that need to be filled

2. Exploris School Directory- now online.  Please opt in.

Please list your family in the Exploris School directory!

1) Fill out the Form: Map and Directory Form

2) Use the directory: *Protected: Exploris School Directory

The directory password was emailed in the July 27 Monday Minute. Please follow the PTO blog by clicking “follow” in the right hand column of our website to receive weekly emails.

3. Exploris Calendar

The 20120-21 Exploris Calendars are on the PTO website in both PDF and Google Calendar versions:  https://explorispto.org/calendar/

You can keep up with Exploris events by subscribing to the Google Calendar. First click on the Calendar, then click on the + button in the lower right corner of the calendar. If you don’t already have a Google account, you will need to set one up, which is easy and free.  After subscribing, all Exploris events will also be displayed on your calendar.

4.  Exploris Family Map

The 2020-21 Exploris Carpool Map is now the FAMILY MAP! 

Fill out the form, and your address and contact information will be posted on our password protected google map.  After your address has been posted you will be emailed the password.  Please do not share the password or the map with anyone outside of the Exploris Community.  

Childcare Sharing: Some families have expressed interest in sharing childcare or hosting small groups of students in homes for distance learning. We have included that option as a question on the Family Map so that you can connect with each other.

Even if you’re not sure if you will be carpooling, we hope you will participate.  Your address will be mapped, making it easier to find Exploris families in your neighborhood.
