Virtual Curriculum night at Exploris is TONIGHT!! Thursday, September 23. Join us online 6-8pm.

Because of the high rate of Covid infections in our area, we will be holding our curriculum night virtually.Crew teachers, global arts teachers, counseling, support staff and administration will all host zoom calls to describe their program and answer family questions between 6 and 8 PM on Thursday, September 23. All sessions will be recorded In case families have children and different grade levels, or conflicts with a session.

THE EXPLORIS ANNUAL FUND DRIVE HAS BEGUN!

Dear new and returning families,

We are excited to kick off this year’s Annual Fund Drive. The goal, as always, is to raise $100,000 from 100% of our families. Donations can be monthly or one time, and are tax deductible.Donations make a real and meaningful contribution to our school, used for areas such as:

  • Funding the annual budget of the Parent-Teacher Organization
  • Funding grants for teachers above and beyond normal classroom supplies
  • Purchasing food for families in need
  • Filling in gaps in materials or software not covered by the school budget

Now is a perfect time to set up a monthly donation! You can cancel or edit the amount at any time. Even the smallest donation monthly really adds up over time. All donations are turned off on June 30, 2022. 

Did You Know? If every family donated $250, we would easily hit our goal! That’s a donation of $25 per month.

Help Clean our Elementary Building!

Explorations – help needed for Session 2- only 4 weeks!

We are now looking for parent volunteers for Session 2 (starts on October 15th and takes us through November 19th). Session 2 is only 4 weeks in length, so if you have an idea for an Exploration, we would love to hear from you! If you would like to serve as a class helper or a sub, we would love to hear from you as well. 

Please let us know if you would like to lead an Exploration and would like help brainstorming a topic. Sometimes we hear from students about their Explorations dreams, and we are able to share that with willing leaders. For example, our 5th graders seem keen on having a Pokemon exploration.

Please try to choose snacks with minimal or earth-friendly packaging if possible. We have removed Kcups and bottled water from the snack list this year in an effort to reduce single-use plastics.
